One of the parts of Forn Siðr followers is to humbly acknowledge the blessings the Regin bestow on our lives.
The heiðin often conclude, as they observe their own lives, that there is little - if anything - to ask for and far more reasons to be thankful for in reverence before the generosity of the Divine.
This attitude does not imply putting oneself in a comfortable place without any ambitions, but realizing that there we do not lack the essentials, that achievements may come through hard work and seized opportunities, and not by magic tricks.
It is essential to repay the Regin for the blessings received, as well as making sure we are able to pursue what we ask Them.
